On July 25, the admission campaign to universities ends, but for now, graduates can still submit their documents. This can be done personally by sending documents by mail or on the State Services portal using the super service “Admission to the University Online”.
You can apply online to almost any state university. In 2022, to the super service “Admission to the university online” more than 970 state Russian universities have joined. Children got this opportunity thanks to the implementation of the national project “Digital Economy”. For now, the online program does not involve universities located abroad, as well as those that are subordinated to law enforcement agencies.
To apply on the State Services portal, an applicant must have a verified account there. Checking the results of the exam, documents on education, individual achievements is performed automatically. The service independently takes into account the special rights and benefits of prospective students. The original documents and consent must be sent to the university after the publication of the competitive lists for enrolling applicants. And they can also be submitted in electronic form.
This year, the super service allows you to apply for any form of education: full-time, part-time, part-time, budget, paid, targeted. In addition, online you can sign up for additional entrance examinations to the university, find out their results and agree to enrollment.
One of the main innovations of 2022 — the ability to monitor the competitive situation in real time. Thanks to the operation of the online platform, the time for updating competitive lists has been reduced to several minutes.
Also this year, when applying by mail or in person, you can immediately inform the university about your desire to receive notifications on submitted applications on the State Services portal. It also requires a verified account.
169,423 applicants have already managed to take advantage of the superservice opportunities, last year 44.5 thousand applicants did so. Thus, 1.9 million such applications have already been submitted. Taking into account the opportunity provided this year to apply to 5 universities, up to 10 different areas of study in each.
By the way, it has already been noted that a large part of the applications have been submitted to universities participating in the Priority 2030 program. National project “Science and Universities”. This large-scale university development program, launched in Russia in 2021, provides students with opportunities to realize their scientific potential and develop research skills. 121 universities became its participants. 106 universities, 5 of which are universities of a creative orientation, received the basic part of the grant in the amount of at least 100 million rubles, 15 received the status of “Candidate for participation in the program”. 17 universities received a special part of the grant on the track “Research Leadership”, and 28 received a special part of the grant on the track “Territorial and (or) sectoral leadership.
Stavropol State Agrarian University — one of the participants of “Priority 2030”. Here, within the framework of the program, the technology of growing sterile seedlings of berries, such as 4 varieties of raspberries, 8 varieties of strawberries, 4 varieties of stone fruit and pome fruit trees, is being tested.
The process looks something like this. First, selected from the best plants (and several thousand bushes were involved in the experiment), the material is sterilized along with a nutrient medium, tools and laboratory glassware. Then, under a microscope, the educational tissue is isolated, which is transferred into a test tube on a nutrient medium. After 1.5-2 months, the microplants enter the container to build up plant mass and prepare for the next cycle — microcuttings. As a result, scientists get a plant protected from viral diseases. The first sprouts grown using the new technology have already been planted in open ground by farmers. Work on another patent is aimed at breeding new varieties adapted to the climatic zone of the South of Russia and the Caucasus.
The second participant of the — Baltic Federal University. Kant. Here the researchers of the laboratory of optical radiation managed to obtain a new, more economical way to generate a jet of non-thermal plasma without the use of inert gases. In the future, it can be used in surgery, dermatology and cosmetology.
And scientists from the National Research University “MIET” (NIU MIET), who also received a grant for the project, in partnership with RAS institutes, have developed solar panels that can be used as design elements for building facades. The panels are translucent and due to the variation of the sensitizing dye can acquire a certain color tone. From a set of such multi-colored solar panels, you can make a stained-glass window or a mosaic that will generate electricity. According to the researchers, the low cost of components and a variety of color schemes make the development an exclusive highly competitive product.
